RAYMOND
I have dwg called li_styles which i have draged all the doors, windows, and walls onto a project pallet. then from there to the various dwgs that make up the whole model which all of which are linked into viz. updating windows and such is easy with this but how do update a profile where it is created in the ref dwg called styles but is used in other dwgs. specifically, i have a gutter profile for a slab edge.. but the roofs are several different dwgs. if I change the profile in the styles how can it be updated in the rest of the dwgs.... right now it seems i have to drag the updated profile into the other dwg to update when I have 8 dwgs for a roof this a task... not to say how many times i may have to change this. plus other profiles for other objects.. any knights of armor in at profile roundtable out there.... Kerry Thompson
Hi In ADT6, I understand you can have project styles which apply across the whole project. I will have a look when I get back to the office. Change a project style and the whole project updates. Cheers Kerry
RAYMOND
In Adt5 it seems you have to update styles one at time from the pallete unless there is some "update all" event... somewhere... i often have doors and windows that are not re-imported from my project styles dwg.... always something... hehe:D :D r
