Ok, heres thing, Im a freelancer, VIZ stuff is an off-hours type of thing, so i work from hom at nights on my personal computer, I dont have a render farm or some powerfull machine, so far Ive mostly done still images.

With that being said, a client is requesting an animation of a shopping mall i just rendered for him, and IM hesitating in taking the job, im afraid i cant provide what he wants, or that I wont delivered it on time.

My main concern are 2 things:

1- people

2- stores

I can get away with people, I could say in the contratc that i wont render with RPCs (if they take a loooooooooot of time to render an image, i cant image how long will take to do an animation with them, maybe my PC will crash) so if he accepts with the no people in it stuff, it leaves me with one problem.

The stores, in an still image you can get away with the stores, what i do is to put a plane with a bitmap of some store interior picture in it, and place it behind the glass, i could tweak it to make it look kinda 3d (depends of the perspective) so it gives the feeling that all the stores are modelled inside and stuff, but i dont think i could do the same on an animation, it will look real fake and flat, so...any tips regarding this?

thanks a lot.
