ki_cz
There has to be a simpler way to making arches in a wall than having to use booleans, or pulling vertices?? Am I completely out to lunch here? I feel like an idiot for not knowing an easy way to do this ...
Gander0
I'm sure lots of people extrude splines from elevational drawings, so booleans etc wouldn't be an issue. Otherwise i'd probably cut my editable polygon
enigma
i usually create an arc or the profile in elevation then extrude it afterwards. can't think of a much simpler way.
Munz
here are more ideas, create an arc spline, extrude it and add a shell modifier or create a tube, and in the options you can have it only go 180 deg or from 90 deg to -90 deg. the harder part is texturing it if it is brick. I always paint my own texture arches, but would like to know if others have better techniques? munz
