puciorek
Marek, Really good job matching your camera. However, I think there are couple things which need to be done to make it even more realisticly looking. First of all, I think there should be a shadow under that decorative cornice. Secondly, I would apply just a bit of brightness and perhaps contrast to the limestone inserts, it probably should match as what's on the building next door. Please see attached image. Good job Sincerely Darius

mskin
Thanks. I agree on the shadows and hadn't picked up on it before. I've tried to fix them with a direct light almost directly above. It casts a shadow that i don't think is completely accurate, but it does produce a bit of the contrast i needed. thanks for input. bigcahunak
also, it looks like the model verticles dont match the photo Yup, you'r right, but I'd fix the original pic before inserting the CG one so they all look vertical.
bdubbya
I'm new to the forum and I just saw your before/after photo montage. Very nice. I'm trying to do similar scenes in 3d max. how did you match the camera angles? I haven't even begun to mess around with cameras.....
