Hi evryone.

I want to know if anyone can help me in this one.

I dont know how to make a real white material for walls or cars, everytime that I want to put a white material in a wall, when its rendered it looks gray....??? why?.

I tried to use many kind of lights and nothing seems to help. I also tried the luminiscense factor but it look so fake.

thanks!!!

Ive been wrestling with this problem too.

Nearest solution I got is this, I made a .jpg just white in corel photo and use this as a material, then in the material properties in VizRender I turn the brightness up tons to 2. The results I get vary depending on if Im using automatic or logorythmic light. But with a bit of trial & error I get nearer white. The problem seems to be that the white picks up reflections of close by material colours! If you find any other ways around please let me know.

to get a real white, all you would have to do is crank your lights up on the wall with illumination. CHG is pretty much right, true white doesn't really exist in the real would, when you see a white wall in reality unless its in a very bright room it will appear grey, but the human eye sees the gradient of color change and tells our brain it's white, but if you look at it think its not.... then you see that its not

I think my brain just crashed trying to put that in words.....
