Dguarcello
I currently use Autodesk Arch. Desktop 3.3 and Viz 4 for modeling and rendering respectively....I use it for school, and I do some work for my old boss (who supplied me w/ the software). Recently, the firm I used to work for upgraded to AutoCAD 2006, and as far as I know it is not backwards compatible w/ Desktop 3.3. I can get aCAD 2006, but will it work w/ VIZ 4? If not, what will work w/ it? Does 3DSMax work in a similar way? I can get that if needed, but otherwise, I'm 'up a creek'......
ARQ_TINO
You can still use Viz 4, while using 2006... just save the autocad dwg file to 2000... Viz 4 is not compatible with 2004 dwg...but you can still use the file as long as it is saved as 2000 dwg format..
