Jeff Mottle
Effective January 1, 2006 Urban Illustration of Phoenix, AZ will be acquired by Advanced Media Design, Inc.. This acquisition by AMD is an effort to upgrade their technical acumen, as well as increase their staff of capable artists. Illustration and animation services provided by both companies will remain intact, but will be consolidated in AMD’s existing headquarters - Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Urban Illustration’s production facility, and personnel will relocate to the Rhode Island as part of this consolidation. Since its inception in 1992, AMD’s partners and staff have dedicated their talents to the evolution of architectural imaging. AMD devotes their attention to the unique challenges of each project and is a firm committed to professional excellence. We are sensitive to the architect’s need for visual media that balances both artistic interpretation and realism. AMD’s digital images build upon the fundamentals of traditional rendering to best convey the spirit of the architect’s vision. Our firm has won numerous awards in recognition of the outstanding quality of our work, including the prestigious Hugh Ferriss Memorial Prize (awarded by the American Society of Architectural Illustrators, www.asai.org ). AMD is the only digital firm to win this coveted award. AMD has sought out project collaboration with major architectural firms, who are considered leaders in design, within the architectural community. Through these collaborative efforts, we have expanded our illustration and animation portfolio to include a broader range of market programs, refined our artistic design and significantly advanced our technical capabilities. Due to our artistic and technical growth, we now offer a full scope of imaging services to Real Estate Developers. AMD can assist developers through all phases of property development from Conceptual Design to Marketing Packaging, Print Media, Pre-leasing Campaigns & Public Events. http://www.studioamd.com
