d7man2000 Posted February 17, 2006 Share Posted February 17, 2006 how do you setup a scene for night, I am trying to get a setting but it looks bad. what do you pay attention to : intensity of lights? sampling subidvs:? evironment multiplier setting? primary bounces? secondary bounces? color mapping-linear, exponential or hsv exponential or intensity exponential? there a lot of settings Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

bokkins Posted February 18, 2006 Share Posted February 18, 2006 hi, one suggestion-which is also what im using- is to use your day scene, but lower all intensities of light and environment to serve as your ambient lighting, maybe put violet and yellow colors on your lights. then, add "light bulb" lights, ies will do, or omnis and spotlights. good luck!
