mbr
I am looking for a city panoramic at night/evening for the outside of a highrise apartment. It's just for practice, so I am not that picky. Ideally, the sky would be very blue/purple. I've found some great ones on Corbis.com, but they want $400-1000 per image! Crazy. I could fly to NY and get one myself! If anyone has one they'd like to share or sell (again, it's presonal, so it'd have to be cheap) that'd be just great. Any links to free or reasonable sites would be great, too. Tim Saunders
I just went on morguefile.com and did a search for "night city" and several decent images came up.

mbr
Timothy - thanks, but I couldn't find any good ones there. Plenty of images, just not thigns you can use as a background. I think I've decided to just stick with a day scene and use an old image. Lhanh29 - thanks, nice renderings, but I was looking for back ground photographs that I could use in my rendering. ronel
hi, im ronel.... if you need some background for your rendering, you can use bryce 3d or photoshop with 4nature plug-inns. if you want i can send some samles to you at no cost. just i want your reply and state what specific background you want. just elaborate where you will use it for example if it is panoramic view, view over the city, view over the horizon. i mean just state what scene you will render.
