d7man2000
is light cache a good choice for exterior scenes? what could be a typical setup in relation to Environment Multiplier, Directional light intensity, and exponential mapping? thanks
BrianKitts
short answer....yes, I love it for exterior scenes longer answer..... every scence is different, there isn't a set multiplier value that will always work, it comes down to tweaking and testing to learn what you want and how to get it. Start with multipliers @ 1, beyond that it comes down to your scene and what you're trying to convey that will take you from there.
d7man2000
it is very general, what settings play the most role, i'm ok with interiors more or less, for exteriors it is a different story. let's say I start with Multiplier of 1 for Environment, what then should I pay attention to? color mapping? Exponential? intensity of directional light? there must be a good procedure to do it. thanks.
