Matt Sugden
WOW, well i have just completed the spot3d tutorial about rendering a walk-through animation with v-ray, and I must say that it is a massive inspiration to think that sort of quality of animation is acheiveable in realistic time scales. I'm really impressed with the caching and the saving of irradiance maps, what a time saver. I feel like my eyes have been opened. I was starting to think that GI was not feasible for animations with my CPUs but now I feel like there is a starting point and something to keep sriving for! I'm sorry if this isn't much of a thread starter, but I felt I had to share my experience with you all!!!
jtiscareno
Hey Matt I fellt just like you when I finished that and the other tuts, those are great to start getting an idea of what vray is capable of doing and finally start producing (at least myself) some good decent work. They are a great starting block!
