Charles Gaushell
Fellow Arch Viz Lightwavers and Lightwavers in general: Wanted to let you know that using Lightwave, Paradigm Productions just won 3 Telly Awards and 1 Addy award (all three entered won Tellys and 1 of the same three won Addys - goofy ad people). Addy now goes onto regionals. Tellys are already national awards. pipjor
Congrats Charles, but imo RPC peeps really ruin a animation sometimes, in your tower animation it just seems so weird/unatural that some peeps are "frozen" while others are moving "on a treadmill" that i found myself more focused on these weird peeps than the viz... looking back these same peeps have ruined many a animation for me also, but what's the alt???? Charles Gaushell
Yeah. It is a problem. We are about to start shooting our own moving people. To be honest though, most of the time the clients are okay with a combination of static and moving. I sure wish Marlin would make more people. FYI, we don't use RCP plugin in Lightwave (though I use it in Piranesi for stills), they start looking really funky to me in many shots. Just a personal preference. Thanks! Charles Gaushell
Thanks Jure, We've got some killer animations that will be out within the next few months. In fact, a really cool project that my partner, Scott Carter, is leading will be ready by the end of the month - very cool downtown project. Just looking for more talent to join us. In particular, Lightwave users.
