Noise
The worst vice I have is working too hard and being too focused so, when it comes to the weekend - sauce, kiteing, techno, missus. never at the same time, or all hell would break loose. have fun n ps surely thats what its all about ? ist00
forums! stopped smoking two years ago, miss the tangental thought processes it use to induce so relaced my already 6-10 cups of filter coffee a day with more! Was far too wired at night... so its herbal teas in the morn, peppermint is the best. Depending on day or week/ coffee at lunchtimes or occassionally a slightly larger and cooler (extra cold to be precise) black stuff in a glass. Barefoot or socks, sometimes depending how heavy duty martial arts was the night before. Sunny days, with a view of the scottish grampians and my bike in the car i have been tempted into the hills many times when i should be deep in a project. Nothing clears my mind better. bad snow (better) for the last week, leaving the office at 2 and sledging with my kids for 6 days in a row.... Noise: I concur, overfocused... at everything but only individually...
carlangas
Music is a must to get me through a long day. if I’m on a tight deadline I just put on my sony studio headphones and listen to fast loud guitar music and drift into my own little world, that really gets me going. if I’m stressed out then I listen to some smooth jazz and/or npr (news radio). no cigs or alcohol, when I do have a drink I find that it just relaxes me to a point where I just call it a day, so I stay away from that. My real vice is just working too much.

Koper
I find that Heavy rave and Heavy metal puts me in a zone when crunshing away on a project, everything zones out and the work zones in. It also give rithm to work with, fast pace, thus one don't stop and drifts of think somethin else. Normally 9 - 10 constant hours of work, and 4 hours break for eating, one must eat and a power nap, very loud tranze music helps me fal into a very deep sleep quickly, but be aware if somebody wakes me!!! Sigs helps as well as a 2ltr of soda..... or coffee. If all else fail and I cant think anymore, there is nothing better than swinging a golf club and seen the ball fly 200m. Yeah I find listening to drum & bass when I have a tight deadline helps me concentrate and work faster... I couldn't listen to it all the time thought it would drive me crazy!
