lsega
Ok, sorry I took so long for an update on this. Hope too many haven't forgotten about this one. So, I took Dennis Holland's advise and replace the photometrics with vray lights and I think it's a pretty considerable difference. I like that the overall image feels brighter (but now my ceiling seems dark). Ceiling has some blotchy artifacts which puzzles me a little bit. Oh yeah and the composition changed a little bit. Still some more modelling I have to do (classroom chairs and such) and I have to add a similar window which would be visible through the opening in the wall in the adjascent room. Getting any closer? Right now the thing bothering me the most is the dark ceiling and something weird is going on with the shelves in the hanging cabs.
d7man2000
looks better, you might want to play with color mapping multipliers or take it to photoshop and adjust contrast/brightness or check out thread about color mapping and gamma correction you can also check Adaptive Subdivision Max Rate to 3 to get better antialiasing
lsega
Well, here's what I've had to submit as the final render because of time issues. There's some blotchy artifacts on the ceiling but other than that I'm pretty happy with it. It still doesn't feel real but I think it's a lot better than the very first image of this project I posted! I'm still going to tweak it though (if not for my own portfolio). Thanks a lot to all you guys that helped me out on this one! Luis
DennisHolland
There you go! A little bright for my likings but who cares. I think your image before this one overall looks better and the floor is super in both! There are some tricks for the dark ceiling - Apply a standard mat with 30% selfillumination - Select te ceiling in Photoshop level it up a bit and apply a surface blur - Play with your dark/bright multipliers in the rendersettings One of these three options probably will work for you. I think you can present your artwork to your client... Nice progress, i like that! Dennis
