justintime1
Hi Dose anyone have and suggestions how a grass effect like this might be made in cinema 4d. This artists site is called http://www.boring3d.com/daily_archive.htm. Its worth a look if you have a slightly unhinged sense of humour.
JamesTaylor
i don't use cinema 4d can't say how you'd go about it but that looks like displacement to me or maybe some sort of hair effect?
justintime1
Cheers for the suggestions Cinema has a matrix extrude tool with which I’m having some successes but was just wondering if anyone had a tried and tested method that they could explain. justintime1
Hey there, I work as a 3d modeller for a architect called JDDK based in newcastle. I am actually also still at uni in Sunderland. Shall be finishing this June ( fingers crossed). Once i finish at uni and a have a bit more time on my hands i hope to set up a freelance business as well as keeping working here part time. Good money in freelance if you can get the work. What do you do in Sunderland. Here is my most recent attempt at producing that effect, I used matrix extrude but it makes for some interesting poy counts.
