Changing where the palettes appear at startup.

This is going to sound lame, but I just got a new computer, and moved my old one over as a render node. On the old computer I now only use one monitor. I changed the settings in the windows display settings to disable the other monitor slots, and only use the current one as the primary monitor. My problem is, when I use viz on that computer, the "palettes" like the material editor, the render scene dialogue box, the layer pallette, and environment panel are all things I used to have on my secondary monitor. Now they don't show up. My cursor only stays within my one monitor, but I am guessing viz still thinks the other monitor is there. How do I fix this?:(
