STRAT
cant you just add the tv image as an animated map to the tv screen then render it?
schmoron13
well, you can set the tv face/screen to an alpha map...easiest way is as a green/blue screen. Then go into a post program-i favor sony Vegas- and composite in the shot, but strat's recommendation of creating an animated gif will save you a lot of time. Just create an animated .gif in photoshop and then you can face map it in cinema.
AJLynn
You know, Doron, computers don't work like that. (Sorry. In joke.) You can also load video files in the color slot, but it slows things down a bit and I'm not sure exactly what the requirements are.
Frosty
All of the above comments will work as well as selecting the first frame of an image sequence. No need to load a video file - the first frame of a numbered set will do.

Frosty
i;ve tried adding animated gifs in the color map but how do i get them to be animated I dont thin a gif will work. Video files and image sequences will. do i just select the frame sequence from the color map??? That would depend on the material you are setting up. Personally, I would put it in both colour and luminance.
