TheAllusionisst
Love the title! LOL Quick question, your curbs and sidewalks are very well modeled, did you do that with straight modeling or do you have a macro or script of some sort for modeling them. I have been looking at 'EasySite', but I haven't heard much mention of it before and am not certain it would be worth $500.00, so I am curious about your method since I hate modeling sites. Nice face lift!
skala67
They are modelled in Form-Z. For the curbs I make a flat shape that looks like a section cut through the curb, then sweep it along the path of the curb, then I make the appropriate cuts at the sidewalk or driveway entries. for the Sidewalk I just extrude the sidewalk shape, then make joints every 5 feet and difference them from the original sidewalk object. Very simple modelling that I think can be made in most programs. The texture is actually just a http://www.arroway.de concrete texture and rendered in C4D... thanks for the compliments... TheAllusionisst
Thanks! The problem really comes into play for me with sloped sites, still trying to find an easy way to do it, the site shouldn't take longer to model than the building!
