simon
These images are of a medical library in Malta that I am designing for my final Masters of Architecture project. I am planning to do about 8-10 renders which I am then going to etch, using as process called Photopolymer Printmaking. Here are my first attempts using final render and Viz 2006. The black and white images are how I’m hope the etchings will come out, so that you have an idea. I’m trying to go for a gritty photo reality to the renders with lots of gradients and contrast. Any advice will be very much appreciated. I’ll continue to add renders to the post as and when their finished. mbr
Post your final render settings. Too much ambient light, not enough contrast. How is the scene being lit?
simon
Hi Mbr Sorry for the slow reply but I dislocated my jaw yesterday doing yoga of all things. Poped back this morning though. I obviously have different setting for internal and external renders, but basically the scene is light with an IES sun and the final render skylight. Lights in the interiors are final render rectangular lights with short attenuation. Please look at the attachment for the final render settings for the third render. Please keep in mind that Malta has very strong sunlight. Here is also another render. Cheers
