Christopher Nichols
It is a common problem. If you look at most architectural animation, it is generally pretty bad... ei... 1000+ frame forward moving walkthough. In very few cases, you will see something that stands out. Generally speaking, learning proper cinematography is a great way to start. General pointers I can give: - start with a storyboard - don't do one long shot - do plenty of animatics - avoid forward moving cameras - try to add subjects to your scenes - find interesting perspectives and avoid things like perspective correction... while it may be ok for stills it looks really wrong (and very static) in motion. - backlighting is almost always more interesting
