ktm07
We are having some odd problems with installing max and hoping someone knows what is causing this. We have been able to successfully install max 8 on our AMD x2 boxes but no luck on our p4's or the lesser AMD boxes. When we try to install we get a fatal error after only a few minutes and it aborts the install. All of the boxes are running XP with sp2 with varying amounts of memory and disk space. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated! Tom
manta
What is the fatal error ?
ktm07
It simply says: "Installation ended prematurely due to fatal error" It gives no error numbers and occurs in the initial part of the install.
Ricardo Eloy
See if you have enough privilegies to perform that kind of op. This sounds like a Windows issue, probably network.
ktm07
This is happening with the SysAdmin logging in... My dealer is on his way over to figure it out... Hopefully it's something simple.
