jvlive Posted March 31, 2006 Share Posted March 31, 2006 only way i could think of to create shadows on the elevations is to draw them in the traditional manual way. or you could cut the building up and do a drop shadow layer style, but you'd have to create a thick black base to cover the shadow below the building (did that make sense?). Am just learning computer rendering, so I will only speak to the composition of your piece. The first thing that jumps out at me is using the same car twice on the same image. You need another car! It's just monotinous, no matter how cool a car it is. At least change the color. Also, your images are different lengths, only to show the car? or do you need to show the gate area. Also, the images could use a little more contrast, unless you are going for the light and airy thing. I hope I'm not being too critical, just trying to help.
