radioVOY
I have a dell 2001fp lcd monitor and ibm 21" flat screen crt monitor both with a DVI plug and I cant make it work with my wildcat 6110 videocard someone knows why? or experimented something similar? the only way to make it work is with the rgb plug but both monitors are profesionals and i think it should work better with dvi conections. also id tried a geforce ti 4800 with a dvi and rgb and only works with the rgb signal is comming from the videocard cause when i use a dvi to rgb adapter signal apears. any help?? C.Vestal
My monitors have a source button on them. So I can toggle vga or dvi. Try and find it in your menu of your monitor if you do not have a button.... just a guess.
radioVOY
yes i know about the butons, my problem is that when i switch to the DVI input nothing shows like there is no signal, but when i switch to RGB everything works fine, i'd tried several DVI cables and none works. radioVOY
I get this from 3dlabs: Dear Ever Contact the manufacturer of your monitors and ask them if their monitors sends an ident signal to the gfx card through the DVI cable. The 3DLabs cards require this ident signal in order to display anything on your monitors. Someone had this issue???
AJLynn
All I can tell you is that I have the same model monitor working perfectly on a Quadro4 900 using DVI. Recommend you get one of those
