diegofer_9
Hi all, I am strugling with this exterior rendering with vray. I know it looks crappy there, but that is just a portion of the image which I hope to post soon. My problem is how to get more light in those areas that dont receive light. I have 1 direct light X 1.0 and 2 omnis inside the building X 0.15 . I am using Irradiance X 1.0 and QMC X 0.85 with linear multiply (1.25 / 1.0). I want to keep using linear multiply because out of various experiments, this color mapping mode renders exterior light the best for me. Please help if you have any idea. Thanks!! Tim Saunders
To me the lighting looks okay. I don't think you want to brighten the darker areas any more. You could either increase the dark value more in the dark/light multipliers, or simply increase the environment value. But I still think it looks okay.
