Meep
Hi Everyone, I have a background in industrial design. Over the past few years, I've been responsible, not only for product design at work, but for creating high quality renderings, and visual presentations for our entire department as well. Here's the thing -- I've grown to really, really love the visualization part of my job way more than the product design part. So, my question is, how do i go about landing a job in the 3D artist/Visualization field with an industrial design background? I don't have a reel, and 99% of my work (real world work) is of products, not scenes. It would absolutely be a dream job to me to create architectural scene rederings. My concern is that i don't have any real world work to show in this field, since I've been in the product design industry. So, is there any hope? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, MEEP
3D_IC
If you say you like the visualisation part of your work more, then you must have some images. Get your CV out and attach some images (architectural) You are sure to get some kind of response. Good Luck!
