how do u create walnut stained wood texture

i have a interior scene in which i have to use a walnut wood

i need the settings for that

i am using halogen interior lighting.it would be better to post the material

i have a deadline plz help

You could try a texture from http://www.animax.it/animax/Textures.htm

Then distorting it a bit as needed in an image app. Try Googling "walnut texture" and select "images" at the top for reference shots of what you're after.
