notamondayfan
what about something interesting, like a helicopter! you could also use them in visualisations!! not too many moving parts either!

hidr
I think that there are not difficulties in modeling an object the difficulty is to apply the correct materials and use the correct mapping. It should be light (no much faces) and well organised. Try new models of cars.

Christopher Nichols
Wow... I would never model Nurbs in Max native. It was added as an after thought around 1997 and has not been updated since. Besides, these days most people are going the root of SubD's. Nurbs and Patch modeling is SO last millenium.
IHAB
what about a fully detailed human skull?(not importing it from poser) or maybe an internal organ, intestines or so on?
Christopher Nichols
Modeling is going throuygh some radical changes these days. Mostly because programs like Z-Brush and Modo are chaging the way people think of modeling. But those type of models are mich more oriented for character and soft surface modeling. People here tend to be more interested in hard surface modeling. IMHO, a strong SubD foundation is the key to most things that you will need in the future. frazer
I know its not modelling but it would be really great to show a night time exterior lighting and rendering set up (especially in vray!). Never really see anything showing how to render exteriors at night only interiors.

Sawyer
I agree with Chris, as usual. You always agree with Chris I always have to ask Chris for clarification. I have heard a lot about Sub-d modeling but I don't know much about it or how it applies to me the lowly arch viz guy. Can anyone clarify? Thanks
