ihabkal
I oredered a book from CGProShop.com on 12/8/2005, and till now I haven't received it. I live in Lebanon now, they sent it to me via International USPS unregistered mail, so the mail people say it's not their problem becasue it's unregistered, and the CGProShop.com people say it's not their problem. Meanwhile someone from one of these two companies has my book. I bet a mail man liked the pictures and took it. Did this happen to anyone of you, and with CGProShop.com in particular? I fear they might have a trend of not sending books to international clients and keeping the $70. let me know if this happened to you... thanks, Ihab
chx
Hello, 14 weeks ago I ordered Exposé 1 from Budplant, was the only place I found to get a hardcover edition. They sent the book and 14 weeks after, there was still nothing. I mailed them and they were kind enough to send me one back, the second one finally arrived after 6 weeks. They were very kind, on a trust basis. The first one is lost. USPS is the worst postal servive I've ever experimented, just simply crap for international shipments. In your case they are rejecting fault on each other (post vs cgproshop) and I'm sorry to say I think you will never see your book if you ordered in december... After 12 weeks shipment is considered as lost... If you ordered with a mastercard or a visa, you may want to call them and explain what happened. I've got an insurance on my cart for such things including internet buys. good luck, hope you can sort that out and that the book pops up at your door. cheers

DennisHolland
Hi Ihab, Got Elemental II straight from Ballistic Publishing. Took 'm 3 weeks from Australia > Netherlands...a totally screwed up box (because it says 'Ballistic' and therefore potentially unsafe) and a scratched black-leather $300 exclusive salontable book, but it arrived. Maybe it's better to order from the source instead of a 3D orientated webshop. Exposé is published by Ballistic, a pretty professional firm, so probably the probs are caused by the shipping guys who let you down in this OR it didn't came through the security in lebanon because of the word 'ballistic' OR some sort of fellow at security is a 3D fan Regards, Dennis
ihabkal
Hi Dennis, the book I ordered is the same one with the hard cover. is it nice enough to warrant a re-order? i have the 1st one, got it when I was in the U.S....THe company I used to work for got those Ballistic books for free, because they're big and important, while us hard working bees end up paying twice the price for it... I'm afraid I think the mail people from my side don't know English, they're french educated, unless they used a dictionnary...
DennisHolland
Hi Ihab, My package was ripped apart because of the hardbox that says 'ballistic publishing'. An over-driven securityfellow could think it has got something to do with a book telling you how to make a cool set of bomb-sneakers Seriously, since you're back in Lebanon, it's possible that it was ripped apart and examined somewhere on Beirut airport? Who knows now a days. I don't think you'll get a brandnew one when writing a letter to the publisher since they probably can explain that they've sent it off to your address. Regards, good luck Dennis
