1St Bank Project

Recommended Posts

Hi guys, I haven't posted to many of my works here. There are definitely some great pieces around these forums and I'm inspired to create some amazing visualizaitons. I appreciate you taking a look and checking out what I've been working on lately. I'm never scared to hear the worst so have your way with it.

Nice start! Since this is still wip, I'd like to make a few suggestions:

- Show more sky and less ground.

- Talking about sky, a nice, clean subby day is always better than a "Oh, damn, it's gonna rain" day. A new sky map would make wonders (try those Newtek offers for free on their website, they are really beautiful and work great) ;)

- Maybe a more horizontal pic would work better to show the size of the building

- Please, get rid of that guy in the foreground. He stands out more than your building, and your client will probably like it better if you keep the focus on the building.

Keep posting!

agreed!!!

different sky map, different photo size (try cinema 1:85), less ground...

1. because the maps aren't really rendering as well as the building

2. it's not the main focus of the image

definitely toss the guy in the front and possibly even the people near the building. you don't need a scale figure since you have other objects to reference from visually.

the building has some nice shade too it, but definitely make the scene brighter with more contrast. It looks as though it is a cloudy day instead of a sunny day.

i agree-

the sky looks too low, mainly because of the big rain cloud right over the viewer. remember when (or if) you remove the guy up front, it will make the black plane of the horizon very obvious. you may want to add some trees or something behind the building to hide (mask) the hard horizon line left by the asphalt plane.

also check the window reflection, it looks like i'm looking straight through the building.

nice work though
