sardesign
c + c please, but... the things I need to fix are as follows: 1. mattress texture (and modelling). anyone know of a good way to model shag? 2. window frame texture. wrong texture (i thought it was white paint) 3. more sampling. this was a preview render i did in 5 minutes 4. less glare for the shine on the floor from the sunlight 5. add a glare lume effect for the window opening i really need help with texturing if anyone has tutorials or can lead me in the right direction. i have been testing stuff out for way too long. are there any good tutorial packages that are worth the $$? i don't want to shell out hard earned cash for tutorials that won't teach me anything useful thanks in advance. ApeiNe
best way to model shag, is not to model it U can use displacement map or any Hair&Fur plugin. There's the Hair&Fur plug included since 3dsmax6

sardesign
rendering is as far as i can take this scene. i dropped the shag because the attempts I've made ended up looking more like canvas than shag next... the bathroom.

ApeiNe
Try to make each part of wood different. Different object or just texture it better, cause we got a linear wood all along, and that's not realistic as much >:/
