ApeiNe
Nice scene Colors are too much saturate 4 my part. If you want a great render in Vray, here what I can tell U : 1st Try to render your scene only with the outdoor skylight and Activate GI Then Try to put one Vray to each windows. At the end just add another Vray light on TV and IES for the one top of your Horse Render each ones to adjust light easily. Wich Vray verion are U using ? Do you got VrayMtl ? VrayLight Mtl ? EDIT : U can find great tut's here about interior and exterior ligtening in Vray >> http://www.osmosis.com.au/info/tutorials.htm
Arnold Sher
...couple of things that come to mind... 1. What i assume is the light in the middle of the pic(strange placement) way too strong and draws my eye stright too it-tone that down and do not use post of lense flair, just makes it look odd 2. the couch looks like Lenny Kravitz night club with oil spilled on it and thefore i would reduce the shine and relection on it. 3.Please get rid of those horses(unless the client specifically requested it). Does anybody actually own those???? 4. Also i would try and improve on the curtains as they look little bit flat. 5.try dropping in a backround behind the window. It will give depth to the room and make it look more natural That should do it... nice start... keep going at it

Fran
Try disabling Exposure Control in the Max Environment dialog. Try adjusting your Color Mapping settings in the Vray Options dialog.
