woodface
Hi, I realise I'm asking a 2d CAD question of a 3d based community, but after years of reading 3d focused sites like this one the only sources/marketplaces I am familiar with for arch illusration are on the 3d side. Does anyone have any reccomendations about where to download/purchase pre-made blocks or symbols for use in creating 2D CAD illustrations? I am looking for office workers and industrial-type vehicles (lorries, fork-lifts, gritters) in particular, for insertion into vectorworks drawings. Sites I have seen on my google journey have so far seemed pretty dodgy, and I'm unwilling to spend money without confidence that I will get a good product. Thanks for your help, Adam Johnston

woodface
Thanks Paul, CBEN was one of the first things that came up in my search. I've had a look, and downloaded a few as trials, but I think we need more choice, more variety and more quality. Out of hundreds of CBEN files I looked at, there were only 10 useful ones. I had hoped there would be some established vendors of cheap blocks and symbols like the ones in the 3d world. My boss like the look of some of these: http://www.ceco.net/index.html - but I don't trust the site, I don't want to recieve them on a CD (I'd rather download so I can use them immediately), and I don't the quality of the drawings beyond the very limited samples they show (10-20 out of 3000 - what if 2900 of them are rubbish?)
