maxwell demo???

I was asking the same thing a year ago before I bought Maxwell, I think the thinking was that they were only interested in serious users and didn't want to support any demo version.

I think they were only interested in $$$, not letting people try before buying.

It been pointless so far for them to make a demo/trialversion since with each interation released the featureset changes alot so handing out a demo would be a bad idea during alpha/beta and the RC stages, it would only make sense to do so when 1.0's features are frozen and set in stone.

That makes perfect sense, though what we have learned is that collecting money during an alpha/beta period is a bad idea as well. Especially when no returns are accepted outside of settling lawsuits. Its an odd combination--take the money + no returns + no demo + features in flux. We can see what they were thinking, but what were we thinking?

Yeah, I guess it would have been too much work, what with the constant updates and all. lol
