need render farms

Greetings chaps

 

I need to render some lengthy cinema 4d full GI animations, which means using a render farm.

 

i'm looking at Dan Stubbs' RenderKing, but does anyone else know of any other options for me to look at? i've done a search on CGA and found an option or 2, but any more i can add to the mix?

 

or have any C4D users out there any advice regarding render farms for me?

Dan would be fine, though his business model is you rent the farm for a month at a time. Seems odd.

 

Another option to look at is RenderCore in Los Angeles. They do C4D.

 

 

And think about baking your big stuff to avoid the time run-up. Careful phong tags alone won't solve it. Baking the big stuff means the important parts are rendered with really high GI (when baked) and then the actual anim. is rendered with lower settings, and you have ZERO flickering on baked surfaces.

Don't recall if they have C4D, but you can also look at Respower

I've had great experience with RenderKing over the last couple of years. Dann's support is great, and I haven't seen better pricing anywhere else.

Hi,

Fox Render Farm(www.foxrenderfarm.com ) has been great for my past, all though I am not sure whether they support C4D or not.

Just can tell its service is cool. and good value for money.
