fusion and shake compositing for vray

Interesting... While I don't think the math is accurate, it is interesting to see your work around to the overbright pixels. Newer version of Vray seem to be addressing the sampling problem with those pixels, so there sould be no need to do that any more. But basically what you are doing is clamping your lighting via the diffuse... you may want to try simply clamping your lighting. A lot of the issues you are having may also related to the AA method that you are using. What method are you using?

In either case, it is an interesting and clever work around, hopefully new versions of Vray will allow you not to need it.

How can I save good openEXR with max 7 and vray?, I downloaded the Splutterfish plugin but there are so many options in the setup options than my head hurts. I just downloaded Combustion demo to experiment myself with compositing, and I want to be sure that my files are in good shape, if so, can I also use RPF instead?
