Jim Mann
CG Databank, that online libraray of really nice car meshes has recently launched a new website:http://www.cgdatabank.com ...unfortunately its all in Japanese now so I don't have a clue how to order any more of the meshes. Does anyone know if there is an English version hidden away somewhere? Jim
JamesTaylor
good find Jim! they seem cheap too, if i'm right that they are 1575 yen each. have you used these before then?
Trick
I did order lots of them some time ago. Some of the best car models in the industry, especially since their poly load is around 30K and they are cheap. I really hope they will have an english site soon
mbowers
Hi, If you go to Google Translator and type in the URL, it does a fairly nice job of translating it for you...
JamesTaylor
i tried this, but once you get thro to the pages for regestration it doesn't seem to work for me?
Jim Mann
I have bought meshes from them previously and they are superb - good quality, very cheap and economical with polygons. The problem is trying to log-in again as the titles and descriptions include graphics that won't translate...so near yet so far! I found out about this site last year in one of the threads here. I can't remember who it was that mentioned them but I am grateful. Hopefully there will be an english version soon. Jim
Ernest Burden III
I went to look at it recently and the site was down. I figured they drove themselves out of business by charging too little. I'm glad to hear they are still there.
Brian Cassil
Here's me hoping for an english site as well. If it's true that they are only 1575 yen, that's only $13.71. I'd be buying a bunch of them for that price.

Mat@MDI-Digital
I got it working, was able to register and buy 4 car mods for about £30 when you get to the register page copy the question marks (????? ????? ????? etc) into bable fish and translate them from Japanese to English, this "should" give you a good idea of whats what. btw, things like postcodes/Tell No have to be correct in the amount of numbers and letters used. See attached images (the yellow/black areas are parts that have my personal info in, so iv drawn over them) Also, eveything iv left blank I cannot remember what they where, but if your using bable fish just copy the ??s to find out. once you have registered you can buy stuff, once you have added it you your cart goto the cheek out. Once there fill out your card info (all the usual stuff) at the bottom of the page (under your card info) there are 2 small buttons, hit the one on the left to submit payment...the button on the right clears the info. Hope it works for you, good luck... disclaimer ...any mistakes people/you make by following this little tutorial is all your fault, please dont blame me if it all goes wrong.
