leoA4D
Currently, 39 folks in the forum In the MW and OT forums, last post more than an hour ago. It seems users have adopted a cautious optimism about the v1 after four days of announcements. That is a healthy and a wise approach born out of past experiences. Adehus
I've been noticing that, too... wonder if NL has as well?
AdamT
What do you expect, they kicked out half the people who were regular contributors! Ironic, as I suspect that most of us would have positive things to say about recent developments if we were allowed to post over there.
leoA4D
You know, it could be total exhaustion from all the v1 celebrating has knocked people on their asses.

Yeah, I'd be saying this (with the Star Spangled Banner playing in the background): For this user - and long-time supporter of a platform I believe ushers in an entirely new philosophy in computer-generated imagery production - Maxwell is undoubtedly the best goddamn $395 I've ever spent in my entire life. It has been, and will continue to be, a great honor to serve in any capacity towards the development of this engine. I wish NextLimit renewed strength to meet the challenges of the future, learn from past mistakes, and continue to forge the path which one day all other renderers will follow. And I wish for all of you the same creative, exciting, and profitable experience with Maxwell that I've experienced. _Mike And then I'd tell Mac users to "go pound sand." OK, gratuitous snipe at Mike... sorry...
_PopArt
That mverta quote sounds exactly like a great television advertising. Substitue 'maxwell render' with 'toothpaste' and try reading it again. Weird:confused:
Adehus
Half advertisement, half college commencement speech...and 100% over-the-top weird. Funny thing is- I think that pretty well conveys how the guy actually feels. Takes all types...
AdamT
The next logical step for MVerta is the Church of Scientology.
renato
This AGS thingie looks cool ,though. I wonder if they introduced "biased" tricks for certain features...
