VRAY GI missing on Network render

Hi all,

1st time post for me so apologies if it's a beginner's mistake.

I'm network rendering a small animation of a room using 'from file' for the light cache and Irr Map. Most of the PCs are renderign the frames OK, but some PCs render with no GI, so the frames are very dark.

Any ideas?

i have had a similar problem a while ago, i found that if i used mapped drives to specify the irr maps location some picked it up and some didn't. When i used the complete (UNC?) path to the file everything was fine

I haven't tried yet, but you know soemtimes you just know that's the right solution without even testing!

I once got the urgent advice to make sure the decimal sign in your regional settings (Windows control panel) is "." and surely NOT a "," !!!
