jophus14
I have attached a scene that i'm working on. As you can see, there are faint splothes on the back wall. How can i fix these splothes and add more light back there? Why does my scene look so flat? I have 1 Vray light in the window Multi:25 and a direct light Multi :8. Please help me out. Thank you Here are my settings: Adaptive Sub Min -1 Max 4 Threshold: .1 Rand: checked Antialiasing: Catmull-Rom Prim Bounce: 1.0 Irr Map Sec Bounce: 1.0 Quasi-Monte Irradiance: Medium HSph: 50 Interp: 20 Quasi-Monte Sub:12 SecBounce:4 Environment: 6.0 QMC Sampler: .85, .001, 16, 2.0 Color Mapping: Exponential, Dark:2, Bright:1.0, Clamp: checked
Craig Ramsay
The faint splotches on the back wall are due to your shadow sampling on the V-ray light, if you increase the shadow subdivs then the splotches should smooth out.
jophus14
I have been workng on the image all weekend and this is what I got. Any ideas on how to make the image better? The frosted glass is just a lens blur in photshop. I tried making a frosted material in Vray, but my render time was nearly 5 times longer and the result was not what I expected. Any tips for frosted glass as well?
