light cache becomes darker

hi! I have very strange problem. when I start render, light cache becomes, first ok and then it starts to get darker and darker. V-ray massage writes that all materials are overbright. when render is finished I get very dark scene which looks like there is no light at all.

what am I doing wrong? I don't understand how it is possible that light cache shows normal result at first, and than it goes crazy?!

I had this same problem before. Make sure you have no "Raytraced" materials in your scene. You may want to try to increase the Dark Multiplier in the Color Mapping rollout in Vray (default is 1, make it 2 and then try from there). Hopefully this will work for you.

Had the same problem when I merged in a DOSCH car which had materials which were not "Vray Materials"...don't worry because you can pick any object, right click, and then in the lower right pane of the Four-Panel menu you will see the option to convert the entire scene to Vray materials...this should solve the problem.

hi! eventualy,I solved the problem when I moved v-ray light material out of the scene and put v-ray material instead.

I don't understand why this happened with v-ray light material when, I used it many times before and it was ok?

I looked for an answer on chaos forum but couldn't find anything? can anybody explain me or give me a direction? thanks
