aligrafix
hey i want some help. i m using vray with irrmap for primary bounce and lightcache for secondar bounce. i have 60 frames animation. instead of calculation for irrmap and lightcache, i wana save them first and then reuse them. my question is: 1. can i save my irrmap and lightcache at frame 1 with 360 degrees vray camera and then use them to get aniamtion rendered? does the vray gives good results. actually i have a slow system 3.0 GHz, 1GB RAm Matrox Parhelia 128 MB APVe thats why i want the answer before putting it on rendering. thanks for your replies
Craig Ramsay
It really depends on what your animation consists of. Can you tell us more about the animation... is there animated objects, changing light etc?
aligrafix
Sure. There is no animation of lights and materials.i am only animating camera and the lenth of animation is 100 frames, i just want to render 1 frame with (360 degree vray) camera and save the IRmap and lightcache. If i use the saved IRmap and Light cache, will it work for me for whole animation. Is it a good shortcut?
