sutaih
I'm a student and I'm trying to achieve the same lighting effects as Spine3D. I'm not exactly sure how they're doing it. Can someone here help out? TIA! http://www.spine3d.com/
Ricardo Eloy
Cal, it's hard to say how they do their renderings. Of course, they are probably using GI, but I guess this is as far as we can tell. Is it VRay, Brazil, finalRender, or even 3ds max? A good render has no marks, i.e., you can't look at it and say "hey! You're using this or that software!". They sure have good pics there, so if you are interested, they are the best people to answer your question precisely. Again, all we can do is guess. sutaih
I know they're using 3ds Max, but the look of their scenes cannot be from a typical scanline renderer. I'm just now getting into using more plug-ins and my best guess is they might use Vray. I've started to use it and I enjoy the look in my scenes and they come close to that "look." But I can only get my hands on the free version so I don't get all the good stuff. By the way, does anyone know if they have a student version?
