anindia
my latest project. a miniscale town ship of duplex and triplex bunglow units. rendered one sample. pls. comment. modelling was developed in autocad and rendered in max and vray. but, surprising i found one thing that vray cant render autocad meshes properly. some error msg. was there. like invalid mapping co-ordinates etc. then i ve again developed it in max only and render it again. pls. comment upon the view. JamesTaylor
the sky and the scene lighting don't match and the photoshopped elements are different again which makes the image feel rather confusing

salf
the rendering ispretty good...the people and cars are pretty bad, you could tweak them more on photoshop to fit the overall scene lighting.
STRAT
it's all in the lighting. your backround, people, cars and planting dont even come close to naturally blending into the image unfortunately.
Matt Clementson
I'd change the backround sky image - its a sunset and all the rest of the photo objects look like the have full sun on them, change the sky for something a bit more midday in feel. Then add a direct light source to simulate the sun - the car has obvious directional light from the left, so place your lighting from that direction. Your current lighting is all diffuse, adding direct light in will give you some stronger shadows and help make the task of blending the photo elements in easier. Once you've done that you'll need to do some work in Photoshop to try and add some shadows/shading to some of the photo elements to blend them in with your scene lighting. Good luck. anindia
dear friends, thanks for ur comments. as i tell u, i ve faced a problem in modelling. what i usually do. i developed the plan in autocad and import the splines in max. and then do the modelling part. because if i develop the mesh directly in cad and import in max for rendering purpose- it creates problem. in this case i ve used one spotlight far above the scene with decay on. in shadow parameter i ve put vray shadows with transperant shadows on and area shadows-sphere u parameter 10(by default). i am new to vray and a bit confused that what value i will put to cast the proper shadows? because as i know vray doesnot suppor other shadows. shall i increase the u parameter to cast more prominent shadows? the sky and all the trees and human figure i ve to change-i can realise. any way will u guys give me a little suggestions about vray shadow parameter. -thanks a lot again. -anindia
