kwerch
Am trying to get some shadows through some vray glass but something is up that I can't catch. for the pane I am using a poly at .25" and applied the vray material to it. Light does pass through but it seems like not enough to create shadows- The inside image shows the shadowless result, the exterior is showing that I am getting shadows from the light and it is pumping out enough that it should make some difference. I'll check out the materials link later in the previous post-until then... thx, karl
gadzooks
Make sure you have Affect Shadows turned on in you vray glass material. Its a button under the fog settings. Hope this helps.

Hope this helps. thx for info- I loaded a ready made glass tex material that I downloaded from ?evermotion I think? The shadows worked fine with this mat. I have not had time yet to see why my set up didn't work and to verify your suggestion- My demo expired that night - I ordered a version today. I'll give it a check when I get it going again. thx. k
