1.47.18 demo expired?

is there a place to download the latest demo? Can't seem to find it anywhere. Trying to convince the powers in the offic eit's the way to go but need the demo to prove it's as good as i say it is. HELP!!!!!! i was just getting the hang of it too.

Edit: Wait, did I misunderstand you? Did your copy expire and you want a newer one? AFAIK there's nothing you can do with an expired copy except install on another computer.

 

If you want more ways to convince them, you could always show them samples from here, those tend to get people excited, and there's a thread here: http://www.cgarchitect.com/vb/15466-mr-forum-can-get-any-worse-9.html where Jeff gives some stats from the recent survey (you can get the full data set for a small fee) showing that 48% of architecture CG people are using Vray, and 64% of the people who use Max are using Vray - it's "industry standard"

I'm really bummed now. I'd only had the demo on my computer a short time, and thought that I'd get more time to try it out. They should tell you it's only for a certain period of time. I was laboring under the dillusion that i could keep using it to test, and get at least compitent at it. Oh well, looks like I'll have to try slipping it in a purchase request.

Why not showing them the free version? You can do great stuff with it and also convince them that you could do even better with the full one.

I was trying to see how easy it was to use the VRay lights and things for a true comparison to what is possible with Vray. I know Free is good, but I hadn't used the full version before so i was jumping in from that point. I probably will go to the free version now until i can talk the boss into upgrading. The more I used the Demo version the more i knew i wanted to get the software. I just needed another week with the Demo to really finalize my case... enough whining from me. thanks for your replies.
