The Furious One
I have a couple of 3DS renders in isometric sections, plans etc. that I wish to print onto A1, however I want to to make sure they print at 1:10, so that I can do overlays quickly. How would you do this
BrianKitts
Image->Adust->ImageSize ..... set your print res Crtl-R ..... turn on your the rulers Scale your drawing against a known dimension using the rulers. If you exported all your images exactly the same you keep a constant scale factor to transform images. But keep in mind this whole process is alot easier if you keep a graphic scale in your image from the start....
danhogman
In general I second this, even though it changes from case to case. Have a ruler drawn on a layer on top of the rendering, then take some reference points on the rendering and scale according to those. You might not need to scale the whole drawing, you can just do TRANSFORM just for the layer where the imatge is.
STRAT
you usually stick a scale line on the drawings
