landrvr1
I'm rendering out several .tif images for an objectVR, but I need the numbering to start at 0001 instead of 0000. Does anyone know how to do this; or if it can even be done? Thanks
BrianKitts
you mean to get max to start @ frame1? or just start numbering with one? either way whatever it turns out you could use a mass file re-naming utility like Siliwin.
Trick
You could skip Windows Explorer and start using Directory Opus. It's far more powerful on File and Folder operations and has it's own scripting for more advanced operations. I can't live without it anymore... landrvr1
Thanks alot guys. Didn't even think about a file renaming utility. Siliwin works perfectly to rename the first file as 0001 and then increase from there. Going to check out Directory Opus -which seems like a great program. 3dfreelancer
Hi Scott You can just set up Max the way you want in the time configuration (the icon with the watch in the timeline), just set the start to either 0 or 1 and render "active segment". Kind regards Michael
