archkre
How can I customize my Dimension Style with my typical arrowheads, tick ,etc. in ADT2006 and have it as defualt and current in all my drawings, even when I open an older dwg or one from another office? Thanks a lot
mbowers
Daniel, It's fairly simple. Create a template drawing that has all your settings arranged. Layers, color, pentables, dimension, units etc. and call it template. Save it as a template file and a dwg file. If you import drawings from another consultant or architect or whatever, simply go to the design center, navigate to your template drawing. Under the template drawing it will break the file down by layers, blocks, layouts, dimstyles, linetypes, tablestyles, textstyles, xrefs'...etc. Simply drag and drop your dimstyles onto the file you've open and viola!. You should then see your dimstyle in the dimension properties dialog box. Hope this helps. Matt
