aligrafix
thanks for those who are viewing and answering here is problem: i have particle systems in my 3dsmax. i want to apply blur to them individually. while using the scanline renderer, we can apply blur on individual objects by accessing their properties, my question is that, that blur with properties cant be rendered in vray. Can i apply blur using vray, either it is accessable from vray properties of the object? or what is the way to do it? i dont know about it and stuck. please! help me Regards
BunGHoLe
You can find a motion blur under Vray::Camera roll out but I'm not really sure if this is what you want....
aligrafix
You can find a motion blur under Vray::Camera roll out but I'm not really sure if this is what you want.... thanks for replying but i really know the camera blur under vray--> camera rollout. it actually works for me for animated camera. but let me give you an example. if i have f-16 flying, lauches a missle, then i need to create a smoke of that missle with particles systems. simply particles not give me the real smoke effect until i apply blur on that. so i need to apply blur on particles of the smoke. i think now you got me. waiting for help again regards
BunGHoLe
Yep...I thought this won't work. The other thing I can think of is to use video post. Render the smoke with scanline and for the rest use Vray.
aligrafix
Yep...I thought this won't work. The other thing I can think of is to use video post. Render the smoke with scanline and for the rest use Vray. i got it. i tried that but i have to composite it in other software. i dont want that. i dont know why vray doesnt have the object blur parameters and if it has then where are they. i have checked all of settings but they are not there. i want to render it using vray. Anyother guy knows about it?? shall be thankful for this help!

ApeiNe
nop (: Just render a seperate layer with object id or anything can give you your particles. Just go in the "Vray::Framme buffer" panel and enable it Go it the "Render Element" tab, "Add.." and add the layers you want. After the render, go into Photoshop and open the render and the layer. Now, to apply a blur on the particles, U just have to select it easily with the layer, and apply the blur on the render. Here some screenshot to explain it better ^^
