Scaling in Acrobat?

Hey,

 

Has anybody here ever scaled in Acrobat? We can't figure out out. Like...if we have a 1/4 scale floor plan and we want it at 1/8. Are there plugins or am I just missing something?

is there a scale option when you print? - 200%, 50% etec....

Adobe Acrobat 3D has accurate scaling features. It works for scaling 3D objects, and I don't see any reason why it wouldn't scale a 2D AutoCAD plan once it's imported.

mskins-Well, there is an option for my printer...but it's useless, it doesn't center the image and it crops parts of it off.

 

landrvr1-If acrobat 3D can do that, shouldn't the 7.0 reader be equiped with the same scaling features?

If you are trying to export a dwg,then print it to scale in cad postscript to fit the page you set up & center the plot then open the .eps in acrobat.

Hmm. I'm not sure whether or not 7.0 has the scaling tool.

 

But wait! Check this thread out. I believe this may hold the solution to your scaling. By printing to a postscript eps file, and fiddling, your scale remains intact in the final PDF. So, if you want 1/8" scale, just plot in paperspace at 1/8"! Gotta try this myself!
